Since 1970, Accelerated Christian Education has published the individualized School of Tomorrow curriculum and provided training in its implementation for Grades K-12. Students are tested diagnostically upon entering schools or home schools using the program. Students are then placed in the curriculum in each subject at their own performance levels determined by the results of the diagnostic tests.
The unique format of the curriculum allows students to advance from unit to unit as they demonstrate mastery. Students move independently through the curriculum under the supervision of instructors who provide tutoring at the optimum moment of learning.
At A.C.E., our purpose in providing educational materials goes beyond simply helping students learn the academics required to enter college or get a good job. We desire to build in students a life-long burning passion to learn and grow spiritually. It is one thing to want children to be successful and quite another to provide the academic and character training to ensure this accomplishment.
Godly character training is part of the A.C.E. learning experience, and it prepares students to welcome and accept challenges and future opportunities. Sixty character traits, such as kindness, loyalty, and honesty, are taught within the curriculum. Students can observe character development in the true-to-life character strips and then apply the Godly character lessons to their own lives.
Challenging and highly effective, the A.C.E. program is an extraordinary educational approach, Biblical in its core, that prepares students for tomorrow’s world while giving them traditional moral values that will last a lifetime.
The curriculum conveys Biblical values and concepts considered foundational to meaningful interpersonal relationships and productive learning in such a way as to become life-shaping influences.
Accelerated Christian Education—a unique program for this time in history—is building Godly citizens and Christian leaders of tomorrow. A.C.E. is your servant to meet the educational needs of today, with the traditional values of yesterday, and the technology of tomorrow.
With A.C.E.’s concept of individualized learning, students don’t just get by—they get ahead! To God be the glory!
Four Keys to Accelerated Christian Education
The A.C.E. Model adapts to the learning speed of your child. The A.C.E. Model allows your child to progress independently through the curriculum and not as a group, but as an individual.
The child is given a diagnostic test to determine current academic ability and clearly identifies any learning gaps within all subjects. For example, your child’s English grammar may be above his/her grade level. However their punctuation skills may be below grade level. Your child is then placed in curriculum at his/her academic performance grade level in each subject and the learning gaps are then addressed.
3. Goal Setting:
The Students learn through setting daily goals and are challenged by marking their achievement. This key to learning allows the child to visualize and plan daily progress. This unique discipline of A.C.E. places responsibility and accountability on the student for learning, thus establishing a lifetime appreciation for goal setting and achievement.
The Biblical value of excellence in all things we do is translated into mastering subject content. This is the foundation upon which all future learning is built. The A.C.E. Model reinforces honest achievement that results in advancement. Students must master a minimum of 90% of the material before advancing.
Five Laws of Learning
The School of Tomorrow educational concept is built on five laws of learning...
- Students must be at individual levels where they can perform.
- Reasonable goals must be set.
- Students must be controlled and motivated.
- Learning must be measurable.
- Learning must be rewarded.
